Job title: Head of Project Manager
Role Summary: Lead operational excellence for large‑scale events at a premier venues, managing a team of 6 project managers, coordinating technical and logistical execution, and serving as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Expactations:
- Deliver exceptional event outcomes on time, within scope and budget.
- Develop and coach project managers to enhance performance and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and venue standards.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and make decisive actions.
- Foster strong client relationships and anticipate future needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, schedule, and mentor a team of 6 project managers.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee technical set‑up, operations, and teardown for events.
- Collaborate with organizers, external suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee event success.
- Maintain and improve operational processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and cost controls.
- Serve as the trusted client contact, providing tailored solutions and proactive communication.
- Monitor and report on project performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience (≥7 years) in large conference, exhibition, or event management.
- Strong leadership, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in event technical environments (lighting, AV, staging).
- Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and crisis management.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., USI, Momentus or equivalent).
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Resilience under pressure and commitment to service excellence.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly desired.
