Job Description
Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst Role Summary Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across multiple business units and regions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives and market conditions. Expectations - Deliver data‑driven pricing insights that inform strategic decisions. - Maintain high accuracy in pricing models, taxonomy, and reporting. - Demonstrate strong communication skills to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations. - Act as a subject‑matter expert on value‑based pricing and market dynamics in a global context. Key Responsibilities - Analyze product and customer data to categorize into appropriate pricing tiers, optimizing margin and win rate. - Create detailed pricing reports and presentations on performance, margin improvement, and financial impact. - Develop and implement sophisticated, value‑based pricing strategies for varied geographies and business units. - Conduct market research to track pricing trends, competitive positioning, and customer willingness‑to‑pay. - Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to define taxonomy and standard pricing across multiple business areas. - Work with IT to deploy pricing models in Salesforce, clean data, and refine analytics models (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). - Partner with GBU and Subservice leaders to align pricing strategies with segment goals. - Continuously review and enhance pricing models to support future planning and strategy adjustments. - Evaluate financial impact of pricing initiatives and recommend improvements for profitability. Required Skills - Strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). - Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting complex insights. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and global teams. - Deep understanding of pricing strategies, market dynamics, and customer value perception. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of pricing analysis experience; experience in a global business environment is a plus. ---
