Role Summary
Lead the engineering organization to design, build, and scale a multi‑cloud SaaS platform that provides real‑time data security and policy enforcement. Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of core backend services, drive architectural strategy, and shape an engineering culture focused on security, reliability, and operational excellence.

* Own technical direction, architecture, and product roadmap in partnership with founders and advisors.

Key Responsibilities
* Set technical vision, identify optimizations, and maintain high standards for the request, orchestration, policy, and JIT credential services.
* Manage and grow an AWS‑focused engineering team; mentor, evaluate, and retain talent.
* Own full software development lifecycle: design, develop, test, deploy, and operate backend services.
* Partner with leadership to define multi‑AZ, secure, and scalable SaaS architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
* Champion best practices: robust testing, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), comprehensive documentation, and CI/CD.
* Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews; ensure technical rigor.
* Recruit, interview, and hire engineering talent to support multi‑cloud expansion.
Required Skills
* Deep knowledge of core AWS services (Lambda, IAM, STS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
* Hands‑on experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong architectural design, scalability, and security expertise.
* Proven ability to lead hands‑on engineering teams and drive performance.
* Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
* 7+ years professional software development experience.
* Minimum 2 years as Software Development Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Minimum 2 years as Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Recent hands‑on SDE experience within the last 5 years.
