Job Title: System and Network Administrator
Role Summary:
Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining network and IT infrastructure for electricity production and storage facilities. Ensure high availability, security, and compliance while supporting operational teams and driving continuous improvement of technical solutions.
Expactations:

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up network hardware (OpenBSD routers, PF firewalls, Cisco managed switches) and virtualization platforms (Libvirt/QEMU/KVM).
- Maintain, update, and provide redundancy for all equipment to keep services operational.
- Design and test backup, recovery, and business continuity plans (PMA/PRA) for configuration and data.
- Implement secure remote access for on‑premise and cloud services (VPNs, bastion/proxy via Teleport).
- Grant and monitor remote access for internal and external operational teams with strict security controls.
- Propose and implement technical enhancements to improve robustness, security, and availability.
- Automate routine monitoring and operation tasks (data transfers, battery control, schedule generation, performance metrics, billing, alerts).
- Continuously protect tools, services, and equipment against cyberattacks, failures, or incidents.
Required Skills:
*System Administration*
- GNU/Linux, BSD, x86‑64 bare metal, VPS/VPC.
- Service managers (systemd, rcctl).
- Shell scripting (Bash, KSH); Python scripting.
*Networking & Security*
- Firewall configuration (IPTables, PF, VPN: IPSec, WireGuard).
- Managed switch operation, routing, proxy, and segmentation.
- TCP/IP protocols and diagnostic tools (tcpdump, Wireshark).
- Bastion and proxy concepts (Teleport).
- Intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS), anti‑virus, encryption, ISO 27001 compliance awareness.
*Other Technical*
- Windows system administration, Cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft SharePoint).
- Microsoft Office suite and PowerShell scripting (advantageous).
*Soft Skills*

Required Education & Certifications:
- Minimum of a professional baccalaureate (Bac) in IT, BTS, DUT, or Master’s degree (Bac + 5).
- 1‑2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and other security frameworks; certification in system or network administration is a plus.
