Align technical strategies with business objectives and customer needs to enable rapid, cost-effective database migrations. **Expactations**: - Proven leadership in high-urgency, high-performance engineering teams. - Deep expertise in database internals, data structures, algorithms, and low-latency programming. - Experience solving complex software challenges (e.g., building compilers, mission-critical distributed systems). - Strong talent identification skills for early-career engineers. - Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts. **Key Responsibilities**: - Build and lead engineering teams to develop a production-ready database interchange platform. - Collaborate with CEO/CTO and customers to align technical execution with business and product goals. - Establish engineering practices to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. - Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering workflows and product development. **Required Skills**: - Proficiency in software development technologies: Linux, C++, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). - Analytical problem-solving for mission-critical systems. - Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. - Relevant certifications in database technologies or cloud computing (preferred but not required).
