Job title: Field Security Engineer
Role Summary:
Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales security support to enterprise customers, acting as the primary security liaison. Collaborate with customer security teams, complete questionnaires and workshops, review contracts, and coordinate with internal product, legal, and support functions to ensure that Collibra’s products and services meet the highest information security standards.
Expectations:
* 30 days – Gain comprehensive knowledge of product line and associated security controls.
* 90 days – Effectively handle customer questionnaires, engage in security workshops, and respond to technical inquiries.
* 180 days – Lead initiatives to enhance security messaging, contribute to the Trust site, and resolve customer security concerns through cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build trust with customer security teams and address their concerns.
* Complete and answer customer questionnaires and security reviews.
* Conduct calls, workshops, and in‑person meetings with customers.
* Partner with legal to ensure contract terms protect information security interests.
* Work with product management to translate customer security requests into product enhancements.
* Identify and develop content, collateral, and initiatives that improve security transparency and messaging.
* Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Trust site and related enablement resources.
Required Skills:
* 3+ years in information and cybersecurity roles.
* 3+ years of pre‑sales support experience, preferably in a cybersecurity context.
* Ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Experience reviewing and redlining security‑related contract language.
* SaaS vendor experience and familiarity with cloud deployment models.
* Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, Java, and web application patterns.
* Proficiency with Jira, GitHub, and Agile practices.
* Understanding of ISO 27000 series, NIST 800‑53, FedRAMP, OWASP, CIS, CSA, SOC/ISAE 3402.
* Basic knowledge‑management practices and experience with Google Workspace tools.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
* Preferred but not mandatory: industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSK, or similar.
