Job Description
**Job Title:** Regional Financial Analyst **Role Summary:** Responsible for the end‑to‑end accounting and financial reporting cycle for a designated region, including month‑end close, margin and trend analysis, budgeting, re‑forecasting, and ad‑hoc reporting to support operational managers. Acts as a liaison between regional operations and corporate accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate 5‑day monthly close with no material variances. - Provide insightful variance, margin, and KPI analysis to drive decision‑making. - Manage regional budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX justification processes. - Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls; support audits. - Communicate effectively with plant managers, corporate finance, and senior leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee monthly close activities in SAP: sales, invoices, goods receipts, accruals, and re‑classifications. - Coordinate inventory counts, investigate variances, and calculate royalties/payments. - Perform cost variance, sales price, volume trend, and KPI analyses. - Lead regional budget and forecast preparation; train users on forecasting tools. - Develop and maintain costing BOMs, quarterly LCM revaluations, and internal labor activity rates. - Set up internal sales pricing and ensure adherence to pricing controls. - Produce monthly and ad‑hoc management reports for regional and corporate stakeholders. - Ensure governance and internal‑control compliance across the region. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting. - Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. - Detail‑oriented with high accuracy and strong work ethic. - Effective communicator and collaborative team player. - Ability to work extended hours/weekends during close or audit periods; minimal travel for training. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field. - Preferred: 3+ years as a Financial Analyst, experience in construction materials industry, and SAP expertise.
