Job title: Solutions Architect Role Summary: Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure technology solutions for the insurance industry, aligning IT strategy with business objectives across underwriting, claims, policy administration, customer engagement, and digital transformation initiatives. Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end architectures, ensure regulatory compliance, drive innovation, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Architect enterprise solutions covering underwriting, claims, policy lifecycle, reinsurance, and customer servicing. - Design integration for insurance platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco) using SOAP/REST APIs, ESBs, microservices, and event‑driven patterns. - Define and implement cloud strategy on AWS, Azure, or GCP with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices. - Develop data architecture, analytics frameworks, and enforce regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI, GDPR, state‑specific insurance regulations). - Evaluate and integrate digital insurance technologies such as chatbots, telematics, AI/ML, and customer self‑service portals. - Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, map processes, and deliver technical roadmaps. - Produce architecture documentation, governance artifacts, and review design deliverables. - Mentor development teams and oversee implementation quality. Required Skills: - 12+ years IT experience, including 4+ years as a Solution Architect in insurance domain. - Deep understanding of underwriting, claims, policy lifecycle, reinsurance, and customer servicing processes. - Hands‑on experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco or equivalent platforms. - Expertise in enterprise integration: SOAP/REST, ESBs, microservices, event‑driven architecture. - Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); containers (Docker, Kubernetes); and DevOps pipelines. - Knowledge of data architecture, analytics, and regulatory compliance in insurance. - Familiarity with digital insurance technologies (chatbots, telematics, AI/ML, self‑service portals). - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF) preferred.
