Job Description
**Job title** Junior Category Manager **Role Summary** Support the Category Manager in developing the Engine Care product category (additives and workshop products). Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis; drive marketing strategy, pricing, promotions, and CBI projects across multiple European and global markets. Deliver actionable insights and execute plans to achieve above‑market growth. **Expectations** - Deliver timely, data‑driven market insights and performance reports. - Execute coordinated go‑to‑market activities with R&D, sales, and marketing. - Lead CBI projects and new product launches within assigned budget and timelines. - Provide field support to key customers and maintain accurate product, pricing, and customer databases. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze sales data, market size, share, trends, and competitor activities. - Define brand and offer strategies, segment customers/end‑users, and propose push/pull actions to increase sales. - Identify new product opportunities, plan and lead CBI initiatives, and support technical/marketing documentation. - Set pricing and promotional actions to maximize margin and reduce slow movers; monitor competitiveness annually. - Create marketing collateral (presentations, product sheets, digital assets). - Maintain product, customer, and pricing databases; prepare KPI and project tracking reports. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams (sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain) to optimize processes. **Required Skills** - Market & data analysis, with proficiency in Excel and basic digital analytics tools. - Strong written and verbal communication in English; additional EU languages are a plus. - Project management and organizational skills. - Independent work ethic, initiative, teamwork, and proactive learning attitude. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. - 2–3 years of experience in marketing, data analysis, or product management (internship or entry‑level).
