**Job Title:** Business Analyst
**Role Summary:**
Serve as the primary liaison between client business stakeholders, development, QA, and external vendors to translate complex business objectives into clear functional requirements, designs, and test plans. Drive coordination, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement across full project lifecycles.
**Expectations:**
Deliver high‑quality requirements, support UAT, manage dependencies, and drive measurable client impact while operating independently in an Agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration (business users, developers, QA, vendors) to align workstreams.
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and test cases.
- Facilitate negotiation and sign‑off on data formats, interface specs, and file exchange requirements.
- Develop and maintain test plans; coordinate UAT, defect tracking, and sign‑off.
- Manage project risks, blockers, and dependencies; provide consultative decisions on design and delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation traceable from requirements to testing.
- Contribute to process improvements for business analysis and QA practices.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years as Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in consulting, financial services, or technology roles.
- Strong translation of business needs into functional/non‑functional requirements for technical teams.
- Proficient in Agile practices and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience leading QA activities: test case design, execution, UAT coordination, defect management.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid grasp of systems integration, data flows, and technology‑supporting business processes.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and clarify ambiguous situations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- No mandatory certifications; PMP, CBAP, or similar recognized qualifications are desirable.
