**Job Title**
Account Supervisor – Spirits
**Role Summary**
Direct media relations and client account management for luxury spirits and lifestyle brands. Lead earned media strategy, mentor a small team, and coordinate cross‑functional campaigns to exceed media KPIs and elevate brand visibility.
**Expectations**
- Deliver feature stories in top national and emerging media outlets.
- Maintain and expand relationships with key journalists and influencers.
- Manage day‑to‑day client communication and internal call‑for‑business.
- Mentor at least two junior team members.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in all interactions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Strategize and execute earned-media plans, targeting print, online, broadcast, and new‑media platforms.
- Secure marquee feature coverage aligned with clients’ KPI goals.
- Conduct client engagement sessions, anticipating needs and proposing creative solutions.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and external partner agencies on campaign development.
- Ideate, recommend, and oversee brand collaborations, talent‑led initiatives, and event strategies.
- Track and report media performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Foster a supportive team environment, facilitating professional growth and retention.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years PR/media relations experience in consumer luxury/lifestyle space.
- 1+ year account/ client‑management experience, comfortable leading meetings.
- Minimum 1 year mentoring at least a two‑person team.
- Proven track record of securing high‑impact feature stories across all media channels.
- Deep knowledge of spirits, music, fashion, cultural events, emerging brands, and digital platforms.
- Strong media landscape acumen (print, online, broadcast, podcast, social).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and relationship‑building skills.
- Adaptability to dynamic work environments, resilience, and collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to DEI, cultural competency, and inclusive leadership.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- No specific certifications required; media and PR credentials are a plus.
