Job Description
**Job Title** Sr. Analyst, Infrastructure **Role Summary** Design, operate, and evolve enterprise infrastructure across on‑prem and Microsoft Azure environments. Lead projects, automate provisioning and monitoring, and ensure secure, high‑availability systems that support business applications. **Expectations** * Act as Tier 3 escalation for major infrastructure incidents. * Mentor and train IT support staff. * Develop and maintain documentation, capacity plans, and roadmaps. * Collaborate with vendors and MSP to implement upgrades and integrations. * Communicate status and recommendations to stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** * Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server and Linux (Redhat/CentOS) environments on‑prem and in Azure. * Optimize virtualized platforms (Hyper‑V, containers), including clustering for high availability. * Administer enterprise storage (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, SMB/NFS), ensuring performance and redundancy. * Design and maintain network performance and resilience (routing, VLANs, VPNs, wireless, Aruba preferred). * Implement hybrid solutions using Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Backup, Entra ID). * Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via PowerShell, Bash, and CI/CD pipelines. * Automate provisioning, patching, and monitoring. * Maintain M365 applications (SharePoint, Exchange, Intune) and support end‑user enablement. * Manage monitoring and alerting (PRTG, Azure Monitor) and maintain performance dashboards. * Enforce security hardening, patch management, and disaster‑recovery testing. * Implement backup and replication (Veeam, Azure Recovery Services). * Participate in solution‑design sessions for new applications and integrations. **Required Skills** * 8+ years in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or cloud engineering. * Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Azure AD, Group Policy. * Proficiency with Linux (Redhat/CentOS) and cross‑platform integration. * Deep knowledge of networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN). * Experience managing Hyper‑V, clustering, and storage arrays. * Advanced scripting (PowerShell, Bash; Python optional). * Backup, replication, patch management, and endpoint security experience. * Familiarity with ITIL processes, change management, and documentation standards. * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect. * Optional: CompTIA Network+ / Security+, Microsoft Certified: Hyper‑V. ---
