Job Description
**Job Title:** Strategic Sourcing Agent **Role Summary:** Develop, execute, and manage sourcing strategies that align with purchasing objectives. Identify, qualify, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability while driving cost savings and mitigating supply chain risks. **Expectations:** - Deliver measurable cost reductions and procurement efficiencies. - Build and maintain strong, collaborative supplier relationships. - Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on capability, capacity, quality, service, and cost. - Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts. - Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics; implement corrective actions. - Analyze spend data to uncover cost‑saving opportunities and sourcing efficiencies. - Consolidate suppliers and standardize materials/services to improve efficiencies. - Partner with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and legal to align sourcing with business needs and new product development. - Monitor market trends, conduct benchmark studies, and evaluate alternative suppliers. - Support risk management by diversifying suppliers and monitoring supply chain risks. **Required Skills:** - Strong negotiation and contract management. - Analytical ability to interpret spend and performance data. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. - Professionalism and confidentiality. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. - 3–5 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply‑chain experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred). ---
