Job Description
Job Title: Senior Order Operations Business Partner Role Summary: Act as the primary liaison across Sales, Finance, and Legal to execute and audit the end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash cycle. Manage Salesforce CPQ quote creation, discount governance, contract approvals, and renewal accuracy while safeguarding revenue integrity and driving deal velocity in a SaaS environment. Expectations: - Own end‑to‑end deal and renewal processes, ensuring compliance with pricing, governance, and revenue recognition policies. - Deliver high‑quality, error‑free orders, minimize churn risks, and provide data integrity for Billing, RevOps, and NetSuite. - Proactively recommend process improvements and automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Deal Review & Analysis** – Interpret pricing/governance policies, create and validate Salesforce CPQ quotes, manage discount approvals, advise on complex deal structures. 2. **Renewals Management** – Generate and validate renewal quotes, manage co‑term, upsells, partial renewals, and amendment scenarios; flag churn risks and collaborate with Sales/CS. 3. **Documentation & Data Integrity** – Review opportunity documentation, validate contracts, signatures, and approvals; ensure accurate Salesforce‑NetSuite data transfer and audit‑ready handoffs. 4. **Revenue Recognition & Compliance** – Align orders with revenue recognition rules, resolve discrepancies, support financial audit processes, maintain internal controls. 5. **Process Optimization & Cross‑Functional Collaboration** – Identify and recommend quote‑to‑cash enhancements, share insights with Sales, Finance, and Legal, contribute to system integrations and automation projects. Required Skills: - 3+ years in Deal Desk, Order Operations, Revenue Operations, or equivalent. - Proficiency with Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, and Clari. - Deep understanding of quote‑to‑cash, renewal management, pricing structures, contract governance, and revenue recognition principles. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder‑specific messaging. - Ability to work independently in a high‑velocity setting and manage competing priorities. - Track record of process improvement and operational efficiency gains. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Certifications in Salesforce CPQ or related order/price configuration tools preferred.
