**Job Title:** Application Support Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide second‑line technical support for internal teams and external clients, troubleshooting application issues, managing Jira Service Management tickets, creating documentation in Confluence, and collaborating on change management and deployment activities. **Expactations:** - Deliver timely, customer‑focused support and maintain high service quality. - Escalate unresolved issues to development teams and track resolution. - Participate in out‑of‑hours deployments and maintenance as required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Resolve application‑related incidents and troubleshooting tickets. - Diagnose problems, research solutions, and implement fixes. - Prioritise and manage tickets using Jira Service Management. - Document solutions and update knowledge base in Confluence. - Coordinate change requests and support change implementation. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for complex issue resolution. - Assist service desk with testing and investigation tasks. - Handle ad‑hoc projects alongside daily duties. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in SQL and relational databases. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritise tasks and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. - Willingness to work shift patterns and out‑of‑hours as needed. **Highly Desired:** - Networking and infrastructure fundamentals. - Google Cloud or other cloud platform experience. - API testing tools: Postman, Insomnia, Console. - Programming languages: C#, .NET, Java, NodeJS, VueJS, AngularJS. - Monitoring tools: Datadog, New Relic. - Deployment tools: Argo CD, Octopus. - ITSM and software management tools: Jira, Confluence. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent technical training). - No mandatory certifications required; in‑house training provided.
