Job Description: Job Title: Backend Developer Role Summary: Develop and maintain backend systems for a remote patient monitoring platform, transitioning legacy PHP/SQL code to NestJS microservices, and enhancing performance, scalability, and security within a cloud environment. Expectations: - 3+ years of proven backend development experience. - Proficiency with NestJS, PHP, SQL, and RESTful API design. - Ability to work independently and collaborate across DevOps and product teams. - Commitment to code quality, security, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and refactor existing PHP/SQL applications. - Design, build, and deploy new NestJS‑based backend services and APIs. - Implement and evolve microservice architecture on Azure/Oracle Cloud. - Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines. - Optimize system performance, scalability, and security. - Conduct code reviews and participate in technical design discussions.
