Job Description
Job Title: SAP Cutover Lead Role Summary: Lead planning and execution of end‑to‑end cutover for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems. Own cutover strategy, sequencing, risk management, and coordination with functional, technical, integration, and third‑party teams. Expectations: - Deliver a controlled, low‑risk cutover that aligns with program milestones and business continuity goals. - Manage end‑to‑end cutover across SAP and non‑SAP environments, including cloud and on‑prem ecosystems. - Provide executive‑level status reporting, risk visibility, and decision support for go/no‑go gates. - Continuously improve cutover methodologies, tools, and governance based on lessons learned. Key Responsibilities: - Define cutover strategy, governance model, scope, objectives, and risk management framework. - Develop detailed cutover plans, runbooks, sequencing, and dependency maps for Greenfield, Brownfield, and conversion programs. - Build and run mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and launch readiness activities. - Coordinate cutover environment readiness, data migration alignment, and business readiness. - Lead day‑to‑day cutover execution across SAP, third‑party integrators, SI partners, and internal teams. - Manage cutover command center operations during mock and live cutovers. - Drive defect, issue, and risk resolution using tools such as CloudALM, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow. - Own cross‑system integration dependencies and sequencing constraints. - Engage business leaders and operational collaborators to secure readiness and alignment. - Facilitate post‑go‑live retrospectives and capture improvement opportunities. Required Skills: - Strong command of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and integrated SAP/non‑SAP ecosystems. - Experience leading sophisticated, multi‑system cutovers with external integrations and data migration. - Proficiency with cloud platform tools – CloudALM, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and testing platforms such as Tricentis. - Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration. - Excellent communication, risk management, and decision‑making under fast‑paced timelines. - Solid understanding of security, compliance, and production release controls. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
