**Job title:** Business Development & Marketing Coordinator
**Role Summary:**
Act as the operational backbone for business development and marketing activities in a strategy & solutions firm. Manage lead pipeline, create and schedule content, coordinate events and speaking opportunities, and produce regular performance dashboards to support strategic decision‑making.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver a fully functional and up‑to‑date HubSpot pipeline, ensuring accurate tagging, stage tracking, and lead qualification.
- Produce timely content (LinkedIn posts, newsletters, email sequences, event materials) that aligns with business development messaging.
- Execute end‑to‑end event logistics, track ROI, and generate post‑event insights.
- Maintain, update, and present business development dashboards with actionable recommendations.
- Support proposal and deck development, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with client opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Lead Generation & Event Management** – Research and maintain calendar of relevant conferences, summit, and speaking engagements; pitch opportunities; oversee event logistics; track conference ROI (leads, spend, conversions).
2. **Content Creation & Scheduling** – Draft compelling business‑development‑oriented content (LinkedIn, newsletter, event invites); schedule and publish across channels in sync with marketing strategist; repurpose event materials into written assets.
3. **Lead Management & Nurture** – Update HubSpot with new leads, tag by type and stage, draft follow‑up emails, maintain “hot leads” dashboard; execute ongoing engagement processes.
4. **Proposal & Deck Support** – Keep pitch decks, capability statements, and templates current; assist in custom proposal creation, design, and content refinement.
5. **Reporting & Strategic Insight** – Build monthly dashboards tracking event performance, pipeline activity, content metrics, win/loss rates, and referrals; recommend focus shifts based on data.
**Required Skills:**
- Minimum 2 years in business development, marketing, or operations coordination (consulting, government, or non‑profit sectors preferred).
- Strong written communication; ability to produce professional, engaging content across multiple formats.
- Proficient with HubSpot or equivalent CRM: lead tracking, pipeline management, tagging, and reporting dashboard creation.
- Graphic/design proficiency—experience creating and maintaining brand‑consistent collateral (pitch decks, proposals, capability statements) using design tools.
- Analytical mindset: track metrics, measure ROI, and produce data‑driven reports and recommendations.
- Event coordination experience—manage logistics and post‑event reporting for conferences or summits.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- No specific degree or certification required; emphasis on proven professional experience and results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
