CX Analytics Tableau Developer – Intern
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards that transform customer experience and behavioral data into actionable insights for executive, operational, and analytical audiences. Facilitate data-driven decision‑making through visual analytics, storytelling, and user‑friendly interactions.

- Maintain data extracts, refresh schedules, and Tableau Cloud publishing.
- Ensure data accuracy, perform cleansing, validation, and quality checks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Adhere to scheduled project milestones and attendance requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Create visually compelling Tableau dashboards, wireframes, and storytelling components.
2. Translate business questions into KPIs, LOD expressions, table calculations, and dynamic parameters.
3. Apply advanced Tableau features (levels of detail, calculated fields, filters, parameters, actions).
4. Design for clear visual hierarchy, appropriate color theory, consistent layout, and intuitive interactivity.
5. Work with AWS data platforms, Oracle and SQL databases to source, join, and prepare data.
6. Build and manage Tableau data extracts and schedule refreshes.
7. Publish dashboards to Tableau Cloud, managing permissions, performance settings, and access controls.
8. Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and maintain data quality standards.
9. Gather stakeholder feedback, iterate on design, and document logic for future maintenance.
10. Participate in team reviews, maintain documentation, and support end‑user training where needed.
**Required Skills**
- Expert proficiency in Tableau Desktop (charts, calculated fields, filters, parameters, LOD expressions, table calculations).
- Experience with Tableau Cloud (publishing, permissions, extract refresh, performance tuning).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and preprocessing.
- Basic knowledge of AWS data services or other cloud data environments.
- Understanding of visual design principles and analytics storytelling.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical details to business stakeholders.
- Time‑management, organizational and stakeholder‑feedback incorporation skills.
- Portfolio of Tableau dashboards (public or internal) and Tableau Certification or equivalent credential.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current enrollment pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline.
- Tableau Certification (or equivalent portfolio evidence).
