Job Description
Job Title: Data Analyst Role Summary: Responsible for extracting, validating, and integrating data from multiple internal and external sources to produce clear, decision‑ready insights. Drives the transition from manual reports to automated dashboards, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to address data gaps and ensure accuracy. Expectations: - Minimum 3–5 years of analytics or reporting experience. - Strong command of Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Amazon QuickSight). - Data detective mindset: locate non‑available data and document the process. - Excellent written and verbal communication for translating complex data into actionable narratives. - Ability to maintain speed while ensuring high quality and accurate analysis. - Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, confidentiality, and ownership. Key Responsibilities: - Pull and validate data from BIS platform, HubSpot, Google Analytics/Ads, accounting/finance tools. - Clean, combine, and maintain data using consistent methods. - Build and deliver weekly/monthly reports (slides, PDFs, dashboards). - Sanity‑check figures with subject‑matter experts; document metrics, assumptions, and sources. - Investigate discrepancies or gaps, coordinating with data owners to resolve issues. - Flag and address tagging inconsistencies, missing fields, and testing artifacts. - Respond to ad‑hoc data requests from leadership, quickly sourcing and visualizing key metrics. - Lead automation efforts by developing Power BI or Amazon QuickSight dashboards. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel proficiency. - Experience with Power BI or Amazon QuickSight. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and oral communication. - Cross‑functional collaboration and persistence in closing data gaps. - Capacity to balance speed with precision. - Attention to detail, judgment, ownership, and confidentiality. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. - Certifications in Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or related BI tools preferred.
