Job Description
**Job Title** Audit Professional – Senior to Partner Level **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end audit services for a diversified client portfolio, including preparation of financial statements under FRS102 and IFRS, compliance with UK GAAP and SOX, and execution of group audits. Manage project timelines, WIP, billing, and debt recovery while mentoring junior staff and driving business development. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality audit work on time, meeting technical standards and client expectations. - Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. - Demonstrate leadership in complex projects, financial management, and team development. - Contribute to new‑business opportunities and deepen existing client relationships. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage audit portfolio: plan, execute, and complete audits with minimal supervision. - Prepare financial statements, consolidated accounts, and audit reports per FRS102, IFRS, UK GAAP, and SOX requirements. - Lead and develop junior audit staff, providing technical guidance and performance feedback. - Control WIP, billing, and debt recovery; ensure profitable delivery. - Attend and actively participate in client meetings; maintain own client contact base. - Identify and communicate audit risks, propose solutions, and implement best practices. - Support business development initiatives and cross‑sell additional services. **Required Skills** - Strong technical audit expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP, FRS102, and SOX. - Project and stakeholder management, prioritization, and deadline adherence. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build client and team relationships. - Analytical thinking; independent research and problem‑solving. - Leadership and mentoring aptitude; ability to develop team competencies. **Required Education & Certifications** - ACA / ACCA / CPA / CA or equivalent professional qualification. - Minimum 2.5–14 years’ experience in audit, accounting practice or related field.
