Job Description
Job title: Senior Sales Operations Manager Role Summary: Oversees regional sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and sales enablement to ensure accurate order intake and revenue recognition. Acts as a liaison between sales, finance, and operational teams to mitigate forecast risks and support deal execution. Expactations: Deliver precise quarterly forecasts, identify and communicate risk factors, meet tight deliverables, and promote adoption of sales processes across teams. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze regional Salesforce funnel and provide detailed qualitative/quantitative insights to RVP Sales and Account Managers. - Support opportunity and quote development; coach on process and tools. - Coordinate account/opportunity reviews, produce meeting materials, and maintain a regular cadence with Account Managers. - Participate in weekly sales forecast meetings, presenting orders booked, shipped, and action items to maximize quarterly sales. - Liaise with internal departments for contract, PO, logistics, receivables, and compliance issues. - Collaborate with finance to assess risks to revenue recognition and follow up on mitigation actions. - Identify missing pipeline data during regional sales meetings and drive corrections. - Triage and approve deal sponsorship requests, advocating for necessary support. - Champion key sales initiatives and process adoption. Required Skills: - 5–10 years of sales operations, business operations, or finance experience. - Advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities. - Excellent communication, proposal writing, and presentation skills. - Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment. - Ability to work cross‑functionally from a remote setting. - Fluent in English; outgoing personality with relationship‑building aptitude. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (minimum). - MBA preferred. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.
