Job Description

**Job Title:** Java Software Engineer (Full Stack) **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications, with a strong emphasis on backend services and APIs. Collaborate with product, analysis, and architecture teams in an Agile, hybrid environment to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑quality software solutions. **Expectations:** - 6‑8 years of professional full‑stack development experience. - Ability to lead backend architecture while supporting frontend tasks as needed. - Hybrid work model: on‑site 2–3 days per week. - Proactive in code quality, security, and mentorship of peers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and sustain full‑stack applications using modern frameworks. - Build, document, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend microservices (Spring Boot). - Perform framework/library upgrades and remediate security vulnerabilities. - Conduct code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards. - Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (BA, PM, DBA, architects) in Agile sprints. - Mentor developers on service integration and development standards. **Required Skills:** - Node.js (including major version migrations). - ReactJS and Next.js for frontend development. - Java 8+ with Spring Boot and microservices architecture. - Docker & Kubernetes containerization. - Build tools: Gradle. - Testing: Jest, JUnit/Jupiter, Mockito. - REST API design and integration. - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Java SE, Spring Professional) are a plus but not mandatory.
