**Job Title**
Director of IT – PrestaShop & Symfony Development Expert (F/H)
**Role Summary**
Lead the technology strategy and development of e‑commerce solutions built on PrestaShop and Symfony. Oversee architecture, standards, and security, while managing cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable web applications.
**Expectations**

- Ensure the continuous improvement and security of all e‑commerce and web services.
- Foster innovation and efficient DevOps practices across the organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and execute the IT strategy, including adoption of Symfony, PrestaShop, APIs, and DevOps practices.
- Lead and mentor back‑end and front‑end teams; set coding standards, architecture guidelines, and security protocols.
- Architect, code, and optimise critical PrestaShop modules; review and approve technical design.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and version‑control best practices.
- Manage systems, databases, and cloud infrastructure; guarantee uptime, performance, and security.
- Coordinate with marketing, design, and business units to align technical solutions with market demands.
- Oversee project management: scoping, planning, budgeting, timelines, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, project performance, and technology health.
- Stay current with industry trends; propose continuous improvement initiatives for PrestaShop projects.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced expertise in PrestaShop (full‑cycle development, module creation, performance optimisation).
- Deep knowledge of Symfony framework (MVC architecture, bundles, security, Doctrine).
- Proficient in JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Solid understanding of DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing (PHPUnit, Behat, Selenium).
- Strong foundation in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and database administration (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
- Proven leadership in recruiting, training, and managing technical teams.
- Excellent project management skills (Agile/Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications such as Symfony, PrestaShop, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Scrum Master are desirable.
