Job Description
Job Title: Senior Information Technology Business Analyst Role Summary: Lead strategic analysis and delivery of scalable, integrated IT solutions. Collaborate with business and IT to gather requirements, design system integrations, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture. Drive end‑to‑end delivery, including vendor evaluation, UAT, and continuous improvement. Expactations: • 12‑month contract, hybrid 3 days onsite. • Deliver high‑quality specifications, user stories, and system designs. • Mentor junior analysts and uphold analysis standards. • Maintain alignment with security, performance, and architectural guidelines. Key Responsibilities: • Elicit and document business, functional, and technical requirements. • Analyse current processes, systems, and infrastructure for improvement opportunities. • Translate business needs into clear specifications and user stories. • Lead API, middleware, and vendor integration initiatives. • Coordinate with infrastructure teams on architecture, security, and performance standards. • Facilitate solution design workshops. • Create business process documentation, data flow diagrams, and system maps. • Contribute to vendor evaluation, RFP processes, and implementation plans. • Define and execute UAT test cases; validate end‑to‑end workflows. • Monitor post‑implementation performance and recommend enhancements. • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices. Required Skills: • 5+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst focused on enterprise systems & integrations. • Business process modeling & requirements elicitation expertise. • Strong knowledge of API integration, middleware, and system interoperability. • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, security protocols). • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, MS Office. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field. • (Preferred) Master’s degree or MBA. • (Preferred) Certifications: CBAP, PMI‑PBA, ITIL, TOGAF.
