**Job Title**
Test Lead – Banking Cards Issuer Domain
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end card issuer testing for large banking products. Own test strategy, plans, execution, defect triage, and reporting. Coordinate onsite client interactions and offshore delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to standards such as ISO 8583 and PCI DSS.
**Expectations**
- 10+ years IT experience, ≥ 3 years focused on card issuing.
- Strong hands‑on domain knowledge (authorization, loyalty, fraud, authentication, settlement, chargebacks, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage testing teams, client communication, and delivery timelines.
- Basic automation skillset to evaluate feasibility and support development of test scripts.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Define and own test strategy, plans, and scope for card issuer projects.
2. Plan, estimate, and track testing effort; drive defects and triage calls.
3. Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards, reports, and progress presentations.
4. Review testing artifacts (test plans, cases, scripts) for quality and completeness.
5. Lead and mentor offshore team members; ensure alignment with onsite objectives.
6. Coordinate client communication, manage expectations, and facilitate approvals.
7. Maintain test closure, summary reports, and lessons‑learned documentation.
8. Publish and discuss metrics, test coverage, and quality indicators.
**Required Skills**
*Domain & Test Management*
- Expert in card issuer domain (TS2, Prime, Vision, etc.).
- End‑to‑end testing across unit, QA, UAT, production.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583, PCI DSS, compliance, and security.
- Experience with change impact analysis, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
*Technical & Automation*
- Familiar with API, UI, mobile, and product testing.
- Fundamental understanding of automation tools, frameworks, and feasibility.
- Programming exposure to Java or Python; automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, RestAssured).
- Database skills (SQL/NoSQL).
- Version control (Git/SVN), CI/CD (Jenkins), issue tracking (Jira, QTest).
- Ability to integrate reporting tools (Allure, Extent).
*Leadership & Communication*
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Experience managing offshore teams and client stakeholders.
**Optional Enhancements**
- Cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) experience.
- Gen‑AI tools, Sauce Labs, Lambda Test, Playwright, Robot Framework.
- Coding in React JS / Node JS.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent engineering discipline.
- Certifications in test management or payments (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, ISTQB Test Manager, PCI DSS certification) are advantageous.
