**Job title:** Clinical Deputy Manager **Role Summary:** Serve as senior clinical leader within a care home, overseeing nursing care, activities, and resident‑care planning to uphold quality, safety, and regulatory standards. **Expactations:** - Act as the on‑site clinical authority for the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care. - Ensure compliance with NMC Code, infection control, and tissue viability guidelines. - Maintain adequate staffing levels through rota management and workforce planning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Clinical oversight of all nursing care and activities. - Develop, update, and monitor individual care plans and medication records. - Manage, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary care team, promoting independence, choice and dignity for residents. - Build and sustain relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners to enhance the care home's profile. - Monitor staffing, work allocation, and time‑management to meet quality and regulatory standards. - Report and manage any quality or safety incidents in line with NHS and Bupa requirements. **Required Skills:** - Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN. - Strong knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resident, family and team engagement. - Proven leadership, delegation, and mentoring capability. - Effective time‑management and prioritisation. - Compassionate, respectful and dedicated to delivering best practice care. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration. - Continuous professional development evidence, including current CPD in nursing care, infection control and care planning.
