Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Solutions Engineer **Role Summary** Design, implement, and operate secure hybrid cloud infrastructures primarily on Azure, extending to on‑prem resources. Build and maintain IaC (Terraform, OpenTofu, ARM, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Env0). Own monitoring, observability, incident response, and disaster recovery for high‑availability systems. Mentor development teams on cloud‑native best practices and manage change approvals. **Expectations** - Minimum 4 years in cloud infra, DevOps, or SRE roles. - Mature Azure expertise; AWS/GCP experience preferred. - Proven IaC, CI/CD, container, and distributed systems knowledge. - Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash). - Ability to work independently or in teams, participate in on‑call rotation, and drive continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Engineer secure, scalable hybrid environments using Azure and on‑prem resources. - Author and maintain IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu, ARM/Bicep). - Design and operate CI/CD pipelines ensuring zero‑downtime and rolling updates. - Build observability stacks (monitoring, logging) and enforce SLIs/SLA. - Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotations; manage incidents and conduct post‑incident reviews. - Execute disaster recovery planning, testing, and readiness. - Mentor software teams on infrastructure, reliability, and deployment practices. - Own change lifecycle: assess risk, document scope, control impact, and audit readiness. - Collaborate with IT, product, and support to align infrastructure with business goals. **Required Skills** - Azure services (AKS, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, etc.). - IaC with Terraform (preferred). - Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Distributed databases (MongoDB) and messaging systems. - Networking & security fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancers). - Monitoring/observability tooling and incident management. - Scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect) strongly preferred.
