**Job Title**: Data Engineer **Role Summary**: Design, develop, and maintain the company’s data warehouse and data integration pipelines to enable business intelligence and analytics across the organization. Lead technical direction, enforce coding standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, scalable data solutions. **Expectations**: Deliver on sprint targets, produce well‑documented, maintainable code, and provide clear guidance to team members. Operate effectively under tight deadlines and high‑pressure situations while maintaining data integrity and system performance. **Key Responsibilities**: - Architect, build, and optimize the enterprise data warehouse. - Design and implement ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows from varied sources. - Ensure code quality by following internal coding standards and best practices. - Create comprehensive system documentation to support maintenance and future enhancements. - Collaborate with product experts, IT, and business stakeholders to define unified data integration strategies. - Mentor peers, provide technical leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills**: - Strong SQL and relational database experience (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle). - Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Informatica, Pentaho). - Programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java for data transformation. - Experience with data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). - Ability to design scalable data models and maintain data quality. - Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork abilities. - Ability to perform under pressure and adapt quickly to changing requirements. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Snowflake SnowPro Core) are a plus.
