Job Description: Job title: Senior Digital Developer – Python Role Summary: Design, build, and secure an AI‑powered PII redaction MVP, integrating front‑end and back‑end components within an agile environment, collaborating with data science and DevOps teams. Expactations: Deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable software in fortnightly sprints; ensure high reliability, security, and operational resilience; document code and processes comprehensively; adhere to BPSS clearance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement full‑stack solutions using Python, HTML/CSS, and React or Angular. - Integrate relational databases and data‑driven features into the MVP. - Collaborate with data scientists and DevOps to refine the AI prototype into production‑ready service. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, delivering core MVP functionality in sprints. - Enhance resilience, stability, and scalability of existing systems and codebases. - Apply Docker containerisation and continuous delivery pipelines. - Produce clear, maintainable documentation throughout the SDLC. Required Skills: - Expert Python development with comprehensive full‑stack capabilities (HTML/CSS, React or Angular). - Deep knowledge of relational data modelling and database interaction. - Proven experience with Agile methodologies and sprint delivery. - Proficient in Docker containerisation and CI/CD pipeline contribution. - Strong documentation and communication skills. - Ability to improve software reliability, operational resilience, and security. Required Education & Certifications: - BPSS security clearance (mandatory). - Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience in software development.
