Job Description
**Job Title**: Import Specialist **Role Summary**: Oversees end-to-end import operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and facilitating coordination between suppliers, logistics partners, banks, and internal teams to guarantee timely and efficient delivery. **Expectations**: Proactive individual with 2–3 years of import/export experience to manage documentation, financial coordination, and operational workflows in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities**: - Manage import files from order confirmation to delivery and closure. - Prepare, verify, and manage import documentation in compliance with customs regulations and Incoterms. - Coordinate with Finance department on supplier payments, bank guarantees, and financial documentation. - Serve as primary liaison between suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders. - Monitor shipment performance, prepare operational reports, and implement process improvements. **Required Skills**: - Fluency in English and French (written and spoken). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Knowledge of customs procedures, international trade compliance, and supply chain workflows. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum 2–3 years of experience in import/export administration or logistics operations.
