**Job Title** Software Testing Technician **Role Summary** Execute and document software and system tests, develop testing plans and policies, and monitor system performance to ensure quality and compliance. **Expectations** - 2‑3 years of relevant testing or QA experience. - Must work on‑site; remote work not permitted. - Operate effectively under tight deadlines and high‑pressure situations. - Strong client focus and interpersonal communication. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop detailed software testing plans and procedures. - Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware for testing purposes. - Execute functional, integration, and system tests on applications and telecommunication systems. - Document test results, track defects, and report findings to stakeholders. - Monitor and evaluate performance of computer systems and networks. - Contribute to the creation and improvement of testing policies and standards. **Required Skills** - Proficient in test plan development and test case execution. - Experience with installation and configuration of operating systems and testing environments. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Attention to detail and accurate documentation. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure. - Excellent communication and client‑service skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - College or CEGEP diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) preferred but not mandatory.
