**Job Title**
PL/SQL Developer
**Role Summary**
Analyze business data requirements, design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, develop and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures/packages, conduct testing and performance tuning, provide user support during validation, and document all development activities.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in PL/SQL and ETL development.
- Ability to work independently with strong curiosity and rigor.
- Proactive problem‑solver, able to propose solutions for data migration and reconciliation, preferably in a finance‑related environment.
- Excellent technical English (written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with functional and technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Gather and analyze business requirements to define data extraction and mapping needs.
- Design, develop, and configure ETL jobs using Informatica and/or Data Lineage tools.
- Write, modify, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages in Oracle 11g.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization of data pipelines.
- Support end‑users during UAT/recipe phases, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality.
- Produce clear documentation for requirements, design, code, test results, and user guides.
**Required Skills**
- ETL tools: Informatica, Data Lineage (or comparable).
- Databases: Oracle 11g, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Languages: Advanced SQL, PL/SQL (procedures, packages).
- Data mapping, transformation, and migration techniques.
- Performance tuning and query optimization.
- Documentation and version‑control best practices.
- Technical English proficiency.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Informatica PowerCenter) are a plus but not mandatory.
