Job Description
Job title: Finance Transformation Manager Role Summary: Lead the finance workstream for a 12‑month Microsoft Business Central ERP implementation in a purpose‑driven lifestyle group. Act as the primary liaison between finance, IT, and external partners to ensure a timely, compliant rollout that enhances financial processes and scalability. Expectations: - Execute the entire finance implementation cycle from requirement gathering to go‑live. - Deliver on schedule, budget, and quality targets while demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership. - Provide transparent reporting to senior leadership and governance bodies. Key Responsibilities: - Define and document finance requirements for GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and reporting. - Direct initiative to configure Microsoft Business Central, oversee data migration, validation, and compliance. - Manage cross‑functional dependencies, timelines, and deliverables for the finance workstream. - Lead User Acceptance Testing, training, and change‑management activities. - Coordinate with external consultants, IT, and other departments to ensure integrated, end‑to‑end functionality. - Produce status reports and present findings to senior leadership and governance teams. Required Skills: - Proven leadership experience in ERP implementations, preferably Business Central or comparable platforms. - Deep knowledge of finance systems and processes (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, reporting). - Project management expertise, including scheduling, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. - Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Structured approach, strong analytical ability, and capacity to deliver under pressure. Required Education & Certifications: - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent finance professional with robust ERP implementation background. - Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage but not mandatory. ---
