Job Description: Job title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Backend Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance, secure microservices on the AI‑powered Supply Chain platform. Owns critical platform components, leads technical initiatives, and leverages AI tooling to accelerate delivery. Expactations: • Minimum 3 years of Java and Spring Boot experience. • Proven experience with AWS service development, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines. • Strong understanding of backend architecture, microservices, and secure production practices. • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous code reviews and simplify complex systems. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Growth‑oriented mindset and proven contribution in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and deploy scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. • Own technical ownership of platform components and lead new product and technical initiatives. • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote simplicity and maintainability. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions. • Scale infrastructure and ensure high availability, performance, and security of services. Required Skills: • Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture • AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM) • CI/CD best practices (GitLab CI/CD, pipelines) • Secure application development in production • SQL, ElasticSearch, GraphQL (nice to have) • GitLab CI/CD pipelines • Full‑stack fundamentals optional (TypeScript, React, Styled‑components, HTML, CSS) • Supply chain domain knowledge (nice to have) Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). • AWS Certified Developer/Architect certification is a plus.
