Job Description

Job title: Management Control Intern (Finance) Role Summary: Internship in financial control supporting the solar business unit’s finance manager, focused on financial analysis, reporting, and model development. Expectations: Level 5 university student in finance or controlling, final-year or internship position, 6‑month duration. Must be precise, organized, proactive, and possess good interpersonal skills; prior professional exposure in finance is advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Consolidate and analyze monthly financial data of subsidiaries using KPIs. - Prepare concise dashboards and finance cockpit to aid decision‑making. - Build, enhance, and adapt financial models in Excel and Power BI (budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow). - Document models for local team usability. - Perform strategic financial analyses for specific projects. - Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives such as finance digitalisation. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros). - Experience with Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools. - Knowledge of financial consolidation, KPI development, and reporting. - Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in a Master’s‑level program (Bac +5) in Finance, Accounting, or Management Control. - Coursework in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. - Optional: Certification in finance or controls (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA).
