**Job Title** Pricing Study Intern **Role Summary** Assist a Pricing Engineer in the estimation and quotation of building projects. Participate from the bid preparation to the hand‑over phase, ensuring accurate cost allocation, technical validation, and proposal documentation. **Expectations** - Current student or recent graduate in engineering, construction management, or a related field. - Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling numerical data. - Able to work independently under guidance, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare cost estimations for all or selected project components. - Review and validate outsourced or subcontracted pricing studies. - Identify optimal technical methods and propose alternative solutions to optimise costs. - Allocate financial resources (labour, materials, equipment) item‑by‑item and determine the overall project price. - Draft technical notes that support bid generation. - After contract award, assemble hand‑over documentation for the construction team. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with cost‑quantifying tools. - Basic understanding of construction processes, material markets, and labour rates. - Effective written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management, Building Economics, or a closely related discipline. - No specific certifications required.
