Job Title: Financial Transformation Manager – Banking
Role Summary: Lead and manage finance transformation engagements for banking clients, driving modernization of finance processes, regulatory compliance, and strategic value creation through technology-enabled solutions.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, on‑time, on‑budget engagements that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to inform solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross‑functional engagement teams, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Design and implement finance process improvement and automation initiatives (financial reporting, transactional processing, FP&A).
- Evaluate and integrate finance transformation technologies (ERP systems, data analytics platforms, cloud solutions).
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation throughout project execution.
- Provide thought leadership on finance strategy, vision, and change delivery.
- Drive business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Deliver status reporting and insights to senior stakeholders and clients.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of banking industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and finance functions.
- Proven experience in finance process improvement, automation, and technology implementation.
- Strong project management skills (scope, schedule, budget, risk).
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team‑management capabilities, with a track record of mentoring.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) highly preferred.
- Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or finance technology (SAP, Oracle, etc.) are advantageous.
