Job Description

Job Title: HBS Commissioning Intern Role Summary: An entry‑level internship focused on building system commissioning. Interns support commissioning activities, learn building codes and standards, and contribute to project documentation and coordination across disciplines. Expectations: - Complete internship from June 8 2026 to August 7 2026. - Actively participate in all scheduled meetings, trainings, and internship activities. - Demonstrate continuous learning by identifying knowledge gaps and seeking guidance. - Maintain professional conduct, ask clarifying questions, and comply with company guidelines and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Ask questions when performing unfamiliar tasks to gain clarity on commissioning processes. - Organize, file, and manage project materials, references, and documentation. - Assist in the selection of basic equipment and components for commissioning projects. - Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure integrated commissioning activities. - Research and apply internal guidelines, industry codes, standards, policies, and procedures to projects. - Provide general support to commissioning teams as needed. - Participate in internship meetings, training sessions, and related activities. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication. - Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. - Proactive attitude toward learning and problem‑solving. - Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. - Basic understanding of building systems engineering concepts. - Familiarity with industry codes and standards is advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. - Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. - Relevant internship experience preferred. - Practical experience in building systems engineering preferred. - Experience with industry codes and standards preferred.
