Job Description
**Job title:** Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide business analysis and system documentation support for an enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment. Act as the primary liaison between IT and business users, analyze issues, and define enhancements or customizations to improve system performance and user satisfaction. **Expectations:** * Deliver accurate, comprehensive business analysis reports and system documentation. * Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the ERP system and related business processes. * Facilitate collaboration between IT and business stakeholders to resolve JDE issues and define project requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct detailed business analysis to identify issues, opportunities, and solution options. * Document business requirements, functional specifications, and system customizations. * Maintain and update system documentation and operational procedures. * Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business users for JDE-related matters. * Assist users in defining, documenting, and tracking enhancement and modification requests. **Required Skills:** * Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications. * Ability to work collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders. * Familiarity with ERP system functionality and processes. * Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) software is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in a related field **or** 3–4 years of related experience/training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). * Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with an ERP system. * Education or experience that demonstrates competency in ERP business analysis is required.
