Job Description: **Job Title:** Logistics Coordinator **Role Summary:** Coordinate transportation of goods, manage client and vendor communication, ensure accurate shipment documentation, monitor performance, and support financial reconciliation within a global freight forwarding environment. **Expectations:** Deliver high‑quality client service, maintain precise records, meet deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics systems and processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Arrange cross‑border, domestic, FTL, LTL, oversize, and dangerous goods shipments. - Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines, and bonded facilities. - Track and trace orders, report anomalies, and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders. - Issue freight bills, invoices, and manage documentation filing (PODs, orders, invoices). - Collect and audit carrier qualification information; reconcile customer accounts and ledgers. - Assist in system, procedure, and process improvements. - Perform additional duties as required. **Required Skills:** - Experience in 3PL, load brokering, or dispatch operations. - Knowledge of freight forwarding and CIFFA environment. - Strong verbal and written communication. - Time‑management, prioritization, and ability to work under pressure. - Critical thinking and problem‑solving. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). **Required Education & Certifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - CargoWise and TruckMate experience (asset). - TDG (Transport of Dangerous Goods) certification (asset).
