Job Description
**Job Title** Application Support Specialist **Role Summary** Provide tier‑1 and tier‑2 technical support for enterprise applications, primarily property management and accounting software (Yardi), tenant software (Property Vista), SharePoint, Office 365, and related databases. Deliver end‑user assistance, training, documentation, and process improvements to ensure reliable application operation within a Corporate‑IT team. **Expectations** - Resolve user-initiated tickets for application issues within SLA. - Escalate complex (tier‑3) problems to vendors or senior staff. - Maintain accurate, updated knowledge base and training materials. - Contribute to ongoing process optimization and software implementation projects. **Key Responsibilities** - Offer remote and in‑person support for Yardi, Property Vista, SharePoint, O365, and database queries. - Administer application settings, monitor performance, and troubleshoot system‑level problems. - Manage ticketing workflow, email, and phone interactions with end users. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (IT, accounting, operations) to resolve issues. - Develop and deliver application training sessions and create supporting documentation. - Participate in projects to streamline IT processes, policies, and procedures. **Required Skills** *Technical Skills* - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). - Experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. - Familiarity with ERP or property‑management platforms (Yardi preferred). - Basic database query and troubleshooting knowledge. *Soft Skills* - Strong interpersonal and client‑management abilities. - Clear communication of technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and multi‑tasking capabilities. - Detail‑oriented and organized in a fast‑paced environment. *Accounting Knowledge* - Understanding of basic accounting principles to liaise with finance teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (or diploma) in Information Technology, Accounting, Database Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Certifications in Microsoft 365 (e.g., MS-900) or ERP platforms are advantageous but not mandatory.
