Job Description
**Job Title** M&A Advisory Intern – London **Role Summary** Assist the M&A advisory team in transaction execution across energy, infrastructure, and pulp & paper sectors. Work closely with senior bankers on deal research, valuation, due‑diligence, modeling, and client deliverables during a three‑month internship, with potential extension or conversion to full‑time employment. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality analytical support on multiple transactions concurrently. - Proactively seek learning opportunities and apply sector knowledge to support the team. - Communicate findings clearly in written documents and oral presentations. - Maintain professionalism and adherence to regulatory standards set by the FCA. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and maintain financial models for valuation and transaction analysis. - Source and analyse market and company data for pitch books, CIMs, and client reports. - Conduct preliminary financial due‑diligence and data‑room vetting. - Prepare deck slides and narrative for client meetings and internal discussions. - Coordinate with cross‑functional teammates on project timelines and deliverables. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, advanced formulas). - Clear written and verbal communication in English; additional language fluency an asset. - Team player with self‑motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Detail‑oriented, accurate, and able to work under tight deadlines. **Required Education & Certifications** - First‑class or high‑grade completion of a bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field). - Working right to live and work in the United Kingdom. - No specific certifications required; coursework in financial modelling, valuation, or corporate finance preferred.
