Job Description
**Job Title:** HR & Recruitment Assistant **Role Summary:** Provide comprehensive support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee engagement initiatives. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, timely HR administrative support. - Maintain high standards of candidate and employee communications. - Demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft and publish job adverts; manage application flow. - Screen CVs, create interview packs, arrange interview logistics, and coordinate candidate correspondence. - Liaise with hiring managers and recruitment agencies; attend networking & career fair events. - Conduct pre‑employment compliance checks, including DBS. - Support onboarding: update HR & payroll systems, collect documentation, issue references, and facilitate orientation. - Manage exit interviews and related documentation. - Compile payroll-ready data and generate HR reports. - Coordinate employee engagement activities, milestone celebrations, and award ceremonies. - Serve as first point of contact for HR queries; escalates complex issues. **Required Skills:** - Prior HR administration or assistant experience. - Strong understanding of HR processes, employment law, and data protection. - Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels. - Proficient IT skills; quick to learn new systems. - High attention to detail, numeracy and literacy. - Ability to prioritise in a busy, varied setting and work collaboratively. **Required Education & Certifications:** - CIPD Level 3 qualification desirable (or equivalent HR knowledge). - Minimum of a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
