**Job Title** Chief Technology Officer – AI/ML/LLM Startup **Role Summary** Lead technology strategy and engineering across an incubator’s portfolio, driving AI-enabled product development, shared infrastructure, and new platform capabilities. Own end‑to‑end technology vision, build and scale internal teams, and partner with founders to accelerate product‑market fit and growth. **Expectations** - Deliver a unified technology roadmap for all incubation and private‑equity companies. - Scale products from concept to market, leading to exits or significant valuation increases. - Maintain a hands‑on engineering presence while guiding executive strategy with founders and board members. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Define and execute a portfolio‑wide technology strategy and architecture. 2. Partner with founders on product design, system architecture, and early technical talent hiring. 3. Design and implement shared data infrastructure, internal tools, and platform services. 4. Lead AI/ML initiatives: develop agents, automation workflows, and vertical AI solutions for client businesses. 5. Build, mentor, and manage a cross‑functional engineering, data, and product organization. 6. Foster relationships with top‑tier engineering/AI talent pools to support hiring and partnership needs. **Required Skills** - 7+ years in senior technical leadership (CTO, VP of Engineering, or founding engineer). - Proven track record delivering production products and scaling teams to 100+ engineers. - Expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure. - Hands‑on experience with AI/ML, LLMs, and building AI agents/workflows. - Experience in incubator/venture studio environments. - Strong leadership, communication, and board‑room engagement skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a top‑30 U.S. university (or equivalent professional experience). ---
