Job Description
**Job title:** Business Operations Specialist **Role Summary:** Supports day‑to‑day warehousing and logistics activities, manages inventory and hardware asset tracking, conducts contract audits, and drives continuous process improvement. Works collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality client service. **Expectations:** * Deliver accurate, timely inventory and logistics reporting. * Maintain strict compliance with contract terms and regulatory requirements. * Engage proactively with cross‑functional stakeholders and vendors. * Identify and implement process enhancements that increase reliability and scalability. **Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee shipping, receiving, and fulfillment of physical assets; coordinate hardware logistics for client onboarding/off‑boarding. * Maintain inventory records in NetSuite, conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update asset assignment data. * Audit contracts and related agreements to verify compliance; produce documentation for internal and external audits. * Generate inventory, shipping, and audit reports; analyze data to inform management decisions. * Evaluate current operational processes, recommend improvements, and collaborate with regional Business Operations Managers to implement changes. * Support Occupational Health & Safety program initiatives within the region. * Provide hands‑on assistance during peak periods, administrative tasks, and ad‑hoc projects. * Onboard and train new staff on standard operating procedures. **Required Skills:** * Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite). * Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. * Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills. * Effective written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships across departments and with vendors. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Minimum of a high‑school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred. * Certifications in inventory management, logistics, or supply‑chain operations (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are an asset.
