Job Description
Job Title: AI Implementation Manager Role Summary: Drive AI and automation initiatives across a multi-site manufacturing group, designing, deploying, and embedding practical AI solutions to enhance manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales, and administrative operations. Expactations: * Deliver measurable improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and decision‑making. * Lead the transition to cloud‑based analytics and an internal AI Centre of Excellence. * Champion responsible, ethical and compliant AI deployment across all sites. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify high‑value AI and automation opportunities within operations. 2. Design and implement AI solutions (e.g., computer vision, predictive modelling, chat‑based interfaces). 3. Build reusable AI tools, frameworks, and prompt libraries. 4. Modernise data quality, structure, and integration with enterprise systems (APIs, ERP). 5. Lead change management: training, adoption, and culture building for digital fluency. 6. Monitor impact using KPIs, ROI, and operational metrics. 7. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed solutions into manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales, and admin workflows. Required Skills: * Proven experience delivering AI/digital transformation in manufacturing, FMCG or logistics. * Hands‑on expertise with AI platforms (ChatGPT, Copilot, computer vision, automation frameworks). * Strong understanding of data structures, APIs, and enterprise integrations. * Ability to translate business problems into actionable AI solutions. * Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts. * Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable ROI through automation or AI. * Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable managing work across multiple sites. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field. * Formal AI, data science, or analytics certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, or similar) preferred but not mandatory.
