Product Portfolio Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead the development, optimization, and performance of a diverse product portfolio in the promotional textiles sector. Drive market analysis, lifecycle management, pricing, distribution, and sales enablement to strengthen competitive differentiation and profitability.
**Expectations**
- Deliver measurable growth and margin improvements across the portfolio.
- Align product strategy with reseller needs and market trends.
- Maintain actionable dashboards and KPI reporting for senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Market & Competition Analysis**
- Conduct in‑depth market, trend, and competitor studies.
- Identify opportunities, gaps, and threats in target segments.
2. **Portfolio Performance Management**
- Track sales‑in/sales‑out, rotation, profitability, and margin across brands.
- Segment products, support slow movers, and recommend phase‑outs.
- Manage lifecycle from launch to discontinuation.
3. **Portfolio Strategy & Differentiation**
- Shape assortment to meet reseller and customer requirements.
- Propose range extensions and new product introductions.
- Highlight unique selling propositions versus competitors.
4. **Pricing & Distribution Strategy**
- Define reseller pricing tiers based on size, potential, and strategy.
- Develop pricing models aligned with market positioning.
- Recommend distribution channels per country and market.
5. **Promotion & Sales Enablement**
- Coordinate marketing calendars with brand partners.
- Create sales collateral, USPs, and competitive comparison tools.
6. **Performance Analysis**
- Define KPIs (sell‑in/out, margin, rotation, launch success).
- Deliver dashboards, ad‑hoc analyses, and actionable insights.
**Required Skills**
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, quantitative focus.
- Deep understanding of pricing, distribution, and positioning strategies.
- Expertise in product lifecycle and portfolio management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French or Dutch preferred.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of product, category, or product marketing experience, ideally in textiles, FMCG, or B2B distribution.
