**Job Title:** Site Reliability Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of a high‑frequency digital assets trading platform across multi‑cloud and bare‑metal environments. Collaborate with traders, quant analysts, and developers to drive performance, automation, and measurable operational impact.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver ultra‑reliable, low‑latency infrastructure supporting real‑time trading, research, and analytics.
- Maintain continuous improvement of system performance, availability, and security.
- Own end‑to‑end platform lifecycle, from design through deployment and monitoring.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters and related services.
- Implement and manage AWS multi‑region resources, including networking, storage, and compute.
- Develop Ansible roles and dynamic inventories for OS‑independent configuration management.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and scripting in Python.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, and related tooling.
- Monitor system health, perform incident response, and conduct post‑mortem analyses.
- Enforce security best practices, network policies, and access controls.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate trading and research requirements into reliable platform solutions.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience.
- Expert-level Kubernetes administration.
- Advanced AWS architecture and multi‑region operations.
- Strong Ansible proficiency (roles, dynamic inventories).
- Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) system administration.
- Terraform infrastructure‑as‑code expertise.
- Python programming for automation and API integration.
- Git, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of system security, networking, and monitoring.
- Collaborative mindset with strong ownership and impact‑driven attitude.
- FinTech, digital assets, or crypto trading exposure (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
