Job title: Manager, Marketplace & Amazon Operations
Role Summary
Lead end‑to‑end management of first‑party Amazon, Thrive Market, and other high‑volume marketplace operations, driving revenue growth and profitability through inventory forecasting, supply‑chain optimisation, financial reconciliation, and AI‑enabled marketing. Own critical levers such as chargebacks, inventory levels, and marketplace contract negotiations while ensuring operational data integrity and supporting cross‑functional teams.

- Own profitability of fastest growing revenue channel, influencing Finance, Operations, and senior leadership.
- Deliver growth and cost control for Amazon Vendor/Seller Central and Walmart marketplaces.
- Integrate and manage GenAI tools for product listing optimisation, forecasting, and inventory prediction.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with marketplace partners and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily Amazon Vendor/Seller Central operations: inventory forecasting, purchase order creation, and data quality.
- Lead financial and supply‑chain management for marketplace sales, including chargeback resolution and cost minimisation.
- Negotiate and oversee relationships with Amazon and Walmart on terms, performance metrics, and dispute resolution.
- Provide accurate product, pricing, and profitability data feeds to enable DCO and other AI‑driven marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Digital Shelf Manager to vet, upload, and monitor GenAI‑generated Product Listing Optimisation content.
- Evaluate, pilot, and recommend new marketplace tools leveraging GenAI for forecasting accuracy, inventory optimisation, and cost efficiencies.
- Partner with logistics, finance, and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise fees.
- Report on marketplace performance, financial metrics, and optimisation opportunities to senior leadership.
Required Skills
- ≥3 years directly managing high‑volume Amazon Vendor or Seller Central accounts.
- Strong analytical skills in supply‑chain data, financial reconciliation, and performance metrics.
- Experience with marketplace chargeback management and fee optimisation.
- Familiarity with GenAI or AI‑enabled commerce tools (e.g., DCO, PLO).
- Proven negotiation and partnership management with marketplace vendors.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable operational decisions.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
- No mandatory certifications, but experience with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, and data analytics tools preferred.
